Alisa Aronson, an award-winning graphic designer practicing in Cambridge, MA, manages and provides creative direction for all projects. Offering design services to clients independently since 1998, Alisa established Alisa Aronson Graphic Design in 2001. Her previous experience includes work as creative director/lead designer for a non-profit organization, and over ten years experience as a marketing specialist providing design, marketing strategy, writing, and editing.
Alisa has served on the faculty of the Center for Non-Profit Management of the Boston Center for Adult Education (BCAE) and led workshops at the BCAE’s Non-Profit Management Conference.
Since 2000 Alisa has provided leadership of the Graphic Design Certificate Program of the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, responsible for directing all aspects of this prestigious educational program including curriculum development and faculty oversight. She has taught at MassArt since 1999 and currently holds the title of Assistant Professor of Design.
Alisa is additionally known for the active role she has played in the growth of Youth Design Boston, a program of the AIGA that provides internships in design firms for Boston public high school students with an interest in art and design. Her commitment to helping talented urban teens pursue their dreams of a career in design led to her current appointment as Visiting Artist at Madison Park Vocational Technical High School in Roxbury. She also serves on the Advisory Board for Shawsheen Valley Technical High School in Billerica.
Alisa graduated with Honors from the Graphic Design Certificate Program of Massachusetts College of Art and Design. She received her Bachelor of Arts in English, Magna Cum Laude, from Brown University.
